      When a car is sold the title is transferred or in the event of no title, the purchaser must have a new title created in order to put the vehicle in their name, register it and obtain insurance.       If you're in the New Orleans area and looking for some .22 LR then Perret's Army Surplus has about 50 boxes of 325 Federal in the glass case for $24.99. Not too bad if you can't find any. Located on Williams blvd south of the interstate and on the left.

      I purchased a Ruger GP .357 in the early 90's for $359 at Sports Unlimited. The current model is $600 plus. Revolvers are great but new stock is too much for my wallet.

      I had a back order for some Federal with Midway that was auto cancelled last month. If you read their fine print, all back orders are cancelled after one year from the order date.

      Rode 35 miles on Saturday morning out on River Road starting from the new casino. Rode another 50 on Sunday all over Ascension. Did an easy 10 in the neighborhood yesterday. Just shy of a 100 mile weekend.

      You can buy a low tone sliencer muffler for $50 or less. I replaced mine after Gustav and it knocked the noise down quite a bit.

      Exactly. Hwy 290 is the highway that currently connects to the toll road. The are building new interchanges to keep things moving. I use the toll road all the time. $1.72 takes me 9 miles at 80 mph. They also have 3x the workers out their. Had to vent my frustration. Wish I could post pics...

      Got My Cinco de Mayo Shirt Ordered!

      Cinco de mayo is an excuse to party and get hammered in America. I had a conversation with my Hispanic neighbor about this and he said nobody in his family or his community in Texas ever celebrated it. Also stated that in Mexico almost nobody celebrates it. It's a commercialized holiday here.

      Boat motor repair

      Simons is supposed to be good. I've been fortunate enough to be able to do a lot of work on my motors myself. Found a place in Alabama that I can order all kinds of parts from for excellent prices. Only problem now is most mechanics are so busy it takes 2 - 3 weeks to get your boat back.
