      I like a youth model 870 in 20 gauge, light and handy enough for my wife to handle and packs enough of a punch with the right load. And cheap, you probably got one already if you had kids.

      Red dot or low power scope for .22 rifle?

      What is your preference for a .22 rifle? Specifically a S&W 15-22? Would a red dot have any advantages over a low power scope? I'll be plinking up to 50 and possibly 100 yards.       Back surgery specifically lumbar fusion, who's had this done?

      Here's another option that I use. CBD oil, full spectrum, taken sublingually daily. Helps me with my inflammation and pain. Not like pain pills which I won't take but it does help somewhat. Probably as effective as NSAIDs which have their own risk.

I've been seeing Dr. John Crosby (Louisiana Pain Specialists on Bluebonnet) for nerve ablations and at 70 years old they're still helping.       Ford QC Issues.

      I bought a 2011 Silverado a few years ago. Burning oil so got it at a good price. Attached my inTune tuner and disabled the AFM mode. Didn't use a drop of oil since disabling. Agree some of these "fixes" just cause more problems.

      Hey 3fifty7 interested in what the farmers that can't burn the cane are doing with the leaves? Leaving them in the fields? Harvesting them for biofuel? I've heard that it doesn't decompose readily. Just interested in what they're doing.

      Look at a field before harvest. You'll probably see some areas where the cane looks blown down. That was a nightmare for the old type cutters. Constantly breaking chains, having to raise the cutter too high, needing scrappers to cut the cane left by hand, etc. When cane lays down like that it...

      Most farmers today use the choppers rather than the old style cutters. So if you ask a farmer you'll probably need a cane knife or machete to cut a few stalks. Also there are commonly some areas in corners that the choppers can't get to. Again ask and you'll probably be able to cut some of that.

      I occasionally used one in college but didn't appreciate the accuracy until when I worked offshore and started using a circular slide rule. No more flipping it over and trying to remember where my mark was.
