    How is the timing/lockup on it? If any significant amount of +P ammo was shot though it, that ain't good.

    (Not saying it's sloppy or anything, just inquiring)

    The gun cycles perfect and has very tight lockup. I don't think it was fired much at all. It's a steel frame so I don't think +p ammo would be a problem.....?

    any smith that has the model number marked on it is ok to shoot +p out of smith and wesson says u can its they just tell u not to shoot them out of the real old ones before they was puting model numbers

    Thanks. If I use a .38 I carry my Colt detective special, so this one just sits. I'd rather someone get some use out of it instead of it being a safe queen. :)
