If ever there were a match to start on, this would be it.

Im in!!! Im also planning on shooting open fairly soon. I have a G22 that Im going to get an open kit for and start shooting with a dot. I think Ill have it up and running for next months match, April at the latest.

I'm also new to competition & wondering if this would be a good way to start. I shoot a S&W 5906. What else in the way of equipment will I need? Also, would there be someone to talk me through the routine?
Rain is predicted for Saturday. Will that affect the competition?

It will if they can't set it up. There giving upwards of 100% rain for tomorrow.
