Ammo shortage looming?
I can’t be sure, but I don’t see any online vendors selling at below these prices now.
I have a feeling the 1st of the year, we will see some pressure on ammo supply, 556 & 300 blackout for sure.
GT Dist. Has some good pricing on 40 S&W and 45 ACP, $14.50 & $18.99 respectivel.

Academy locally has 556 for 11.99 a box. I think it’s going to be around $25+ in January. It’s on the shelf now. ​

I ordered the M855 green tip from academy last week and a day later they emailed me they were out of ammo and refunded me…. I wasn’t too happy so I ordered from cabelas and it only took 3 days!

That’s crazy, I bought my G3C from them 5 or 6 times before I finally got it, they kept selling it.

I ordered a case, within minutes the order & was ready the same ammo, the m855. I went to the shelf yesterday when I was in the Gretna store, they had loose boxes, a little over a case on the shelf. A ton o 9mm.

I see cheaper than dirt advertising Wolf steel cased for $180 for a small case of 10 boxes. Academy has Blazer all over for $15 a box.

It looks like here we go again.

GT Dist has that price by the case or a single box. Also reasonable shipping and no tax charged. It’s coming from the Texas store. 10% savings without the tax added.

I’ve watched the price of 5.56 steadily increase on outdoorlimited.com I was buying pmc x-tac 55grain 5.56 from them for 9.99 per 20 rounds a month and a half ago.

I don't get why no one has set up a home business where people give them spent brass and get bullets at a cheaper price. Seems like it could be a win for everyone involved? Of course, I don't have the know how or the equipment to do this..

There are people who do that for friends and acquaintances. You just have to be lucky enough to know them. I had an arrangement like this till the gentlemen retired from the hobby to spend more time with his family.

I am down to about 15,000 rounds of JHP 9mm and about the same amount of FMJ 9mm.
The downside is I purchased them after the prices increased hoping to avoid the next price increase.

Reloading supplies hit an all time high also. Primers were 5X what they were before biden. That's if you could find them.
