Here's a fun kicker you guys... the dude crying about people price gouging ammo just posted a P365xl w/ RomeoZero for $1000 that can be purchased at any retailer right now for $749. How about that.

Oh the internet never fails to disappoint.

I noticed in lafayette, they do 2 shipments, on in the morning, and they do another after 5. Only reason I noticed, I went at 2, picked up the last 50 round of Blazer 9mm, a friend called me asking for some 223/556 so I went back to get more, and they had a bunch of bulk 9mm. Picked up two of those cause I was running low, and sold him some of my spare 223, as I been shooting 9mm more than 223/556.

Check your local Walmarts. the one here had a ton of 22lr the other day Remington Lighting ~$22 for 500rds I believe. Then someone found out they had it and bought it out over 3 days. I swear hoarders suck.

Also got lucky at Lake Charles Academy. They had some bulk Monarch brass 9mm. Guy before me could have bought it out but he left me a box. So when the lady pulled out another box of the bulk 9mm ammo I left some for the next guy.

Remington 22lr is the one I always recommend to people that are into out-of-battery detonations.

I had the same happen with cci mini mags or maybe it was stingers. The remington and federal have been doing well in my tippmann and tx22.

Thanks but have plenty 100 packs and two types of CCI Bulk MiniMags my wife had me buy here piles of the Troy Landry Bulk Shootum boxes.
I will wait till the price on Mini Mags comes back down.
Just wondering what Bulk 22LR is going for nowadays.

With the coming inflation it may never come back down to pre 2019 prices. The same CCI Mini mag was $9.99 three months ago at Academy when the supply was shorter.

For what it's worth, there was a line of about 8 guys at the Kenner academy this morning at 7:30. No idea what ammo they were trying to buy, but I'd say the days of lines aren't completely behind us.

I agree -inflation and metals prices are going to keep ammo prices higher. I doubt we'll ever see 4 cent 22lr again.

To satisly the itch, I picked up a couple boxes of Stingers at Academy in Gretna -they're 20 cents/rnd now instead of 12 cents.

This pricing seems to run parallel with the insane cost increases we're seeing in the cost of construction materials.

3/4" CDX plywood decking is running $58/sheet where it used to be $17 a few years ago. Metals studs, corrugated roofing, and now plastic piping -all surging.

If the rumors of inflation become reality amid these increases, we'll all (present company excluded of course) be posted up in the gub'mint cheese line...

    I just paid $58 for a 4x8.

Equities fluctuate. I don't fault anyone for asking whatever for a gun or ammo; it is theirs, and no one has to buy it.

Does anyone here sell their stocks lower than market for goodwill among men?

The wally world in Harahan has federal automatch 22lr 325 boxes for $17.73/box and CCI mini mag 40gr for $7.82. 5 boxes of CCI and about 10 Automatch left right now

The price will level off at the price people are willing to pay . If we keep buying at higher than " normal " prices that price will become the normal price.
