I carry a PMK 380 as a backup. I've always contemplated what kind of knife I should carry if all else should fail.

I love my kershaw... forget the model but you can get them for $30 at wal-mart. best knife I've ever owned. factory edge is still plenty sharp after 4 months of use, assisted opening.

My last resort (and letter opener)...

Glock 27 with extra mag, Leatherman Wave and Strider SnG... A bit much, but ready for any situation... Not to mention a Surefire e1e..... OK, so I'm like Batman.....

S&W 442 .38 or a G27 along with the micro tech. Looking in to getting a kahr or a rohrbaugh
