I had a VERY exciting day. got on stand at 5:15 AM fell asleep and woke up to a doe cracking a bramch. The doe was right under my stand. I could have spit on it. I was in a box stand and the deer were behind of me, but my leg was asleep so I couldnt position myself to get a shot. There was another doe around 25 yards . My flashlight fell and they both ran off. Right at 9:30 my brother inlaw was walking to my stand and he jumped two does. I saw them cross the trail, but couldnt shoot because they crossed too fast. Got off stan and went scount. Found a good pplot that was moad down. Got in the stand and there was a willow tree blocking the corner of the plot. we broke theose branches so we could see the corner (good thing we did because that was the corner he came out). Went home ate lunch. Got back on stand at about 2:15. 20 minutes later I saw a Moma doe and two babys cross, but I couldnt get a shot. waited waited waited. Around 420 a button buck came out and I watched him for about 20 minutes. I didnt think I would see anything after that. at 519 HE came out with a 6 point and a 4 point. counted the points, put the sights on the shoulder and dropped him. Killed a 208lb 8 point buck with a Thompson Center .308. 125 yrds. Total of 11 deer seen yesterday. I will put pictures and the rack score up tomorrow. The only bad part is I didn't put up my $10 at my local gas station so if the big buck winner is smaller than 208lbs ima be mad because the winner usually gets between $1200-$1500. The GOOD news is there is a BIGGER 7pt in the area.

I got most the measurements. 4" base on both sides. 4" browtines. 18" beams both sides 5" G1s. When I get the total scrore I will post it. We predict that it will be around 105 to 110. Not the biggest rack, but I am very proud of it for my first buck
