Don't carry concealed (yet), but my XD-40 is always close by. Once I get my CCL, I'm eyeballing the new Springfield EMP. The XD is too chunky to carry.

Ya know, I studied that remark for quite a while before it dawned on me what you meant; or, what I THINK you meant.

I have used several different brands in a 28 year LE career. We didn't go to semi-autos until 1989; it was Sig for a few years, then I realized the superiority of Glock in 1993 and toted them until my wife surprised me with an HK USP Compact .45 last July.

In addition to these, I am very familiar with S&W and Beretta autos as well. IMO, the HK beats them all hands down, in terms of overall fit, finish, and quality.

So, if that makes me a snob, sin loi. I certainly don't make an issue of it; but my Glocks are gathering dust, and I'm about to buy another HK in 9mm "just because".

    .

Don't take offense, it's just kind of a stereotype about HK owners. A lot of people that own HK's are offended by even the thought of shooting another brand. Probably has something to do with HK making great guns. ;)

Or...just the simple fact that people make fun of what they can't afford. :o

You left off Kel-tec... again, not a joke. My P3-AT (.380) is the gun I carry most. Its light and flat, small enough to go in my front pocket even. I occasionally carry an old S&W 469. There's usually an M870 in the truck though...
