Cabelas eliminates ammo limits

Was at Cabelas this afternoon and noticed a very good supply of .223 of various manufacturers and then noticed they lifted the restriction on the number of boxes of ammo you can purchase at one time. Only .22LR and .17 still remained under limited purchases.

I just left Cabelas . Not a whole lot of ammo . NO .22lr , about 20 boxes of.17

The only thing I've noticed that is still limited on their website is the .22 ammo...whenever they have it.

I was there yesterday and they had a ton of every kind of ammo except .22.

There today, a lot of .223/5.56 and .40 45 no 9mm no .22. I heard one guy ask an employee if there was still a limit and he said "If you have the money and the need, you can buy us out."

What were the prices of the .223 at Cabelas? Is it still at $10/20 or has it gone down any?

They had every thing from hunting cartridges at $1 a round down to the federal x193 at $.50 a round. Not a lot of bulk packs but they did have a few "value packs"

They have 9mm on their site in stock as of this morning. $15.99 per 50 rnd box

TONS of .40 S&W and .45 ACP there today...

They also have a couple of over/under 12ga. / .30-06 long guns. Kind of cool.

Don't know about today, but last two Tuesdays they've had several boxes of American Eagle 100's of 357 mag.
