Damn, that was fast. I received the Florida package today. I would go from 24 legal carry states to 31 if I got a Florida CCL, but I don't think it is worth it. I'll probably use the papers to help my father get his.

Just wondering here. . . if the Florida license is good in more states than the Louisiana one, then what's the purpose in getting a LA one?

I didn't know about the FL CCL before I applied for my MS CCL, but now I'm glad I have a MS CCL because it qualifies as an NICS check when buying a firearm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but LA and FL CCLs don't qualify.
