    Currently in Louisiana, it has to be a reproduction of a gun that actually existed and was used prior to 1875 or whatever the year is they(LDW&F) use.

    Yeah, I kinda forgot about that one... it's prior to 1900... but on the LDWF list next to the no.1 it has (no exposed hammer) as the reasoning, which kind of threw me off.

    Here is what is on their website:

    *Amending the Primitive Firearm language by removing the pre-1900 designation to allow for additional types of firearms. Additionally, specify that only Commission approved calibers will be allowed.
