Stages were good too!
I put my non-serpa blackhawk and a comptac cant paddle in my bag.
Thanks for the holster spanky. Nice to meet you and some others from the board in person. Hope to shoot some more with you guys in the future.
Ditto on barney's thanks for setting up the match to those involved. I had a great time at my 2nd competition.
What's the difference between points and stage points?
Two misses killed me.
Points are your actual score on the stage, not figuring in the time/hit factor.
Stage points is a percentage of the maximum points possible on a stage.
Here's an example:Stage 1
1 Jacob, Scott 17 B Production 125 10 18.07 6.3641 140.0000 100.00%
7 Jouette, Jeremy 21 C Production 121 10 24.41 4.5473 100.0333 71.45%
I had the highest hit factor(6.3641) so I got 100% of the stage points(140.000)
Your hit factor(4.5473) is 71.45% of my 6.3641. So you get 71.45% of the maximum available stage points (100.0333)
Points you can see right away, stage points takes some cipherin'. Computers sure make this easy. In the old days we had to do all this with calculators. And you guys wonder why DMH, Beauxdog, and I are half crazy?
How hot was it?
so in other words if you win the stage (higher HF) you get all of the points regardless of misses etc?
oh and why didnt you use this example.
3 Jouette, Jeremy 21 C Production 112 0 19.39 5.7762 99.9083 83.26%
4 Jacob, Scott 17 B Production 100 0 19.67 5.0839 87.9339 73.28%
jk
How hot was it?
Could have used this one too......but I didn't
3 Jouette, Jeremy 21 C Production 111 0 18.14 6.1191 101.8138 88.53%
4 Jacob, Scott 17 B Production 96 10 17.41 4.9397 82.1902 71.47%
