    I have a Glock 19 .... Ummm ( I mean.. I have held a Glock once.. )
It quickly became my favorite gun.. I do however use a 1911 for my Concealed carry gun... Because Its thinner and easier to conceal..
(I mean If I carried a gun I would carry a 1911 but I dont believe in owning or carrying guns .. They are dangerous....)

PHEW ... That was close.. I almost admitted to owning guns...:rofl:

This argument is why I said earlier that I soon I will probably try glock again. Only this time I will buy it and run some rounds thru it and try to get used to it. If I still dont like, I will trade it off.
BTW, the new ruger p95 fits my hand perfectly and really like it!

I have owned pistols that fit my hand better than a Glock [Small Hands] but I find the Glock to be as reliable as any combat type pistol. Being reliable is the Most important factor for me. I do not drink the kool aid, I know there are many other quality pistols available. For now I will continue to learn to shoot a Glock. If you are in a bind for cash I will gladly purchase your HK, Sig.,XD, M&P, ETC.

With the proper training, any pistol could be someones favorite. The concept is the same, they all go bang. I think it is more of a cliche than anything. It is 50% mindset 25 % skill 25 % trigger control.

One suggestion for those who do not like the grip I added a Hogue Overmold (about $12) to mine and to me it feels much nicer. Now this does add a little thickness making the mag release shorter but the Vickers Mag release ($15) solved that.

It helps some to remove the finger grooves.

I think it is closer to 80% mindset and 20% skill. I have seen some shooters improve drastically with the Right Mental Attitude.

Is not "trigger control" a skill?

Hogue overmolds have a nasty habit of sliding around and blocking the mag release, plus they make the grip fatter which makes it worser...
