What is that rechargeable battery you are using if it's not a CR123, an 18650??

Regular RC 123's have 1500 mah of capacity, rechargeables RCR 123's have only 800 mah (they have to make room for the protection chip) so those RCR 123's will give a very poor runtime when used with a 300 lumens lamp.

My 18650 is the best battery available in Li Ion form, it is 2600 mah and that much capacity is the reason for the 2 hours plus run time.

I'm thinking about ordering one, can we get a group buy together?

Good idea, start a group buy and I will do a 15% discount on five lights or more.

update: 10/16/10 I can not longer offer 15% discount.

Put me down for 1 as well. What kind of mounts would I need to attach to a pict rail?

    Quick Detach LEVER mount (included)

so that would be $150 for the light, pressure switch, and charger? I'm in.:D
how much extra for the regular end cap for use as a regular flashlight too?
Pressure pad switch AND regular click switch included

Yeah, seems like we have a few people in the same area interested... good news. I am definitely down for one. Cash in hand.

Now, which of us in the BR area wants to take the role of being in charge of this? I wouldn't mind my money to any of you guys, you all have much more trader feedback than me.

Well I have met and dealt with charliepapa many times and would trust him, great guy! Small item here and if needed addl shipping via priority small flate rate box would only add about 7 bucks with tracking if they were all sent to one individual by the seller then sent to the other individual buyers. But I am sure watchmaker can ship them individually.

Somebody maliciously is spreading rumors about the quality of my lights.

The quality is the best available, the Surefire clone host, the best battery in the market, the best lamps, charger, Lever mount and pressure pad switch.

    I offer one year warranty

and if somebody wants proof, just see what the customers are saying.

I meant to post here about the twoI bought back in March, but I never got around to it...
I ordered two of these lights (one for me and one for a friend) to try out and see how they would work out for us. They have worked very well indeed. Both lights are very powerful and get used quite a bit. I use mine as a weapons light and a work light. He uses his as a work light. I have had, (and still have) and use several Surefire lights. This light is the one I go to now. It is cheaper to acquire and almost free to use, since it's rechargeable. It is brighter, has more range, is longer burning and smaller than the M2 lights that I have. The charger works in every country I've been in, too.
I have been very impressed with my purchase, and so has my friend with his. So far I haven't been able to find a downside for these lights.
    I recommend them highly.

    Watchmaker,
Arrived yesterday in the mail as expected.
Thanks again. Review coming soon as promised.

For now, all I can say is WOW! This thing is like having an artificial sun in your hand. Fit and finish are perfect. My god this thing is bright.

    Regards,
    Mike

Mine came yesterday and I have to say so far I'm impressed. It is a good looking light, the throw is excellent. The fit of the light is impressive also. Threads on the caps are very tight, no play and the o-rings seem to seal well. Thanks again Juan.

    Preacher,
I have had mine for a couple months now and all I can say is AMAZING little torch. I have lit up the night on many occasions and it still makes me chuckle at how much light this thing throws out. Still on the original charge also!

All my buddies are saving up for one, they are very jealous of my artificial-hand-held-sun.

Buy with confidence, Juan is a good man (and a helluva light maker).

    Regards,
    Mike

I've been meaning to post this.

A big +1 for black bear, his products and his service.

Bought a regular flashlight and a weapon light with the pressure switch and rail mount.

Very bright, white light. Good battery life. You absolutely have to like a rechargeable lithium battery.

Posts: 373 I just got one of the small Surefire type lights with the 350 Lumen 5-function lamp and it far exceeds my expectations! I am mainly a hunter and it will be great to have a light this small of versatile to keep in my pack for tracking jobs or in case of emergency. I normally use a much smaller, dimmer light to walk in/out of the woods because I don't like to light up the woods. This one will be GREAT to have as a back-up and tracking light! Or to blind the occasional Sasquatch you may encounter!!!
