Fusilier Range - Road Closing

Signs posted that LA 686 - north out of Henderson will be closed from 4/16/12 to 12/16/12. Those coming from I-10 will need alternate route.

We have to go to sunset, arnaudville, to range? No more henderson north until december? That ain't rite!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up...but does make you wonder why an 8-month road closure is required.

Then again, it's taking a year and half to replace a two lane bridge two blocks from home so I'm already used to going the long way around anytime I leave my house, thanks to the La. D.O.T.

Corrected: LADOTD shows that LA686 is open to LA727. Apparently the bridge about .15 miles North of the intersection of LA686 and LA737 will be out for six months starting Monday, April 16. Coming from the I-10 Henderson/Cecilia intersection (Exit 115), one will still be able to reach The Fusilier Complex range via LA 737.
