in 1998 my dad owned a singleshot .22 model 41 remington. Now he has about a dozen pistols, from a glock 17 to a les baer trs. Around 10 ar based weapons from 5.56 to .300saum. A couple of shotguns, and half a dozen heavy barrel bolt guns in various calibers, a Thompson, and , a calico .22, a few AKs, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. He speaks truth.
I started about a year ago with a .40 caliber Barreta for home defense and a mosin nagant for fun. Apparently they reproduce in the safe 'cuz every time I look inside, there's a new gun.

Yes all is true.!!!! You will always move up to bigger and better things. First it's a .22 next it'll be a 9mm and then you'll go to a 5.56, and then before you know it you'll be looking at yourself with a 10mm shooting craters in the moon to finish the smiley face that you started with your Barrett .50 cal.
When I finally meet you...if you aren't as intimidating as your avatar photo, I'll be sorely disappointed!
With a name like 762NATO, I would have figured you shot nothing but rifles.
