Thanks for the pic! Holy crap! Definitely not worth it.

I went, got in line at 8:30. There was actually two lines. One was alot shorter than the other. Got in pretty quick. Prices were insane, but people were buying it up. I bought two mags for my glock and that was it. Line was short when we left at 11.

People were actually pay 2k for ARs inside. It was really packed ammo had it own line and they were selling a ton of overpriced stuff to the fear mongers. It was the most entertaining 8 dollars I ever spent.

I didn't even bother going. I stopped at Jim's in BR though. People were buying up everything. Prices on the ban stuff were through the roof, but they had what I was looking for cheap. Which was a slip on hogue grip. They had about 6 boxes of S&B 9mm for $20 each, so I passed.

I headed out to the gun show in Gonzales, LA this morning. It is typically one of the smaller shows in the area. When I arrived at the I-10 / LA 30 exit traffic was backed up the whole 1.5 miles from the exit to the show. How far it was backed up coming from the other direction I could not tell. There are several entrances into the building and each entrance had lines of several hundred people waiting to get in. About 11:00 AM I left the show and drove 30 miles to the state capitol for the Gun Appreciation Day rally. There were about 200 people there but I suspect it coinciding with the gun show kept the crowd down. I drove back to the show about 2:30 PM and it was still packed and people were still arriving but the traffic backup had cleared.

I was there this morning at 7:30am...and it was ridiculous...ppl buying 1k rounds for $975!!!
There was a Magpul table...they had PMags for $50 bux

Talk about string sale....I went to Cabela's first because I thought the line would die down at the gun show (WRONG)....well, anyways, I saw this guy at Cabela's pick up two Bushy AR and then later saw the same guy at the gun show selling them. It's all about the hustle I guess. I would sure as **** wouldn't want to be the guy who did a parking lot sell with a weapon to later turn up at a crime scene.

Probably. I bet he turned a really good profit considering the outrageous prices there.

All in all, I did good. Found a very rare Seecamp 25 in really good condition for $400 and an HK USP 45 compact LEM trigger at a good price too.
