    My buddy and I were headed to lunch during that chase. We were only 1-2 blocks away when they crashed and the police were firing and heard everything. Crazy ****, cops flying around everywhere.

    Think it was the norm in BR long before Katrina. I remember when I was a kid, after crack hit the hood in the 80's, the murder rate was pretty high, BR was ranked #5 I think, NOLA was #1, then it lessened in the 90's, picked back up in the 2000s.
