Dave, where is your transfer guy located?

Baton Rouge. Louisiana Gun and Reloading it's a sponsored business.

Money Matters in Denham Springs does transfers for $15.

I assume you mean money transfers? I've never done anything like that. I think... Someone would have to explain it to me.

No, Money Matters is check for cash, pawnshop, and gunsmithing place on Florida Blvd(HWY 190) in Denham Springs just east of Baton Rouge.
    his number is 225-664-8685

I just picked up a Redhawk from him today.
its also known as Frank's Custom Gun Works

He also might be interested in a sponsorship of BayouShooter.

I order and pay for them. They're shipped the FFL I talked about. I already talked to him about it before everyone else posted. Since you paid me they're all paid for and waiting for you at Louisiana Gun and Reloading. All you got to do is go there at your convenience do the transfer, pay the man for the transfer, and assuming there's no problem with your instant back ground check you leave with your S&W. Since he's not selling it to you there isn't a state tax to pay either. So the total OTD cost would be $220. I don't have to be there because I never legally owned the handgun. I'll never be mentioned on the paperwork for your handgun. The MSRP on a new one right now is $758. Of course most people wouldn't pay MSRP and these are not new. But I'll bet these one's will shoot just as well.

no, but that 200, plus the check that was going to Midway for a scope was the down payment.
if I would not have needed a stamp, both checks would have been in mailbox at the house and no truck.

I agree a cut off date is what's needed. I decide October 30, 2009. Right now I have zero checks. But four promised.
