I can't believe how many dachshund owners we have on here! Our two are crashed out on the sofa with momma right now. I mean they did have a very hard/exhausting day of laying around and napping!

We have a female that will be 7 years old in December. Very Active for a dachshund, but is starting to slow down a bit as she gets a little older.

It does my heart good to see that Gus is adjusting well to his new home I'm going to show the wife tonight I know that it will make her feel better about letting him go to another home. Thanks for the Pic, it made for a great end to a rough day

Mine are completely worthless too.

Had to do a doubletake as that is mine's favorite position too! He'll grunt and go completely limp if you try to move him if you ever have the nerve to actually want to sit on HIS sofa.

Gus was born on March 23 this year that makes him about 8 months old. He is a sweet little dog. I just want to see him go to a good home.

I just found this post. I was looking for Gus’s birthday. He’s an old man now but still my wife’s best friend.
