Well I got the opportunity to go deer hunting last weekend in Carmone, Tx. I was on my stand for about 45 mins watching a small spike, when this walked out. Only at 38 yard shot, my dads new Browning Lightning 7mm08 (bought it for him for xmas last year) had no issue of dropping this buck. The deer dropped in his tracks. I jumped down to get a picture to send to my buddy, and jumped back into the stand, then 45 mins later an even BIGGER 10 pt walked out. I let it pass out of respect for the club and my friend, and the law.
They said it was a good size deer for the area. 13 inch spread, and 5.5 inch tines.
