Talked with an old friend today, He is 15 miles or less from Tampa right on the water.
They just picked up Eric's totaled car was flooded from strom surge.
Saying 15 feet surge with Milton where he is at.

I hope the recovery isn’t a flawed as Helene’s

Milton will still be a hurricane as it passes over Floridas east coastline, Or so it’s currently projected.
As bad as this devil will be for Florida , thank God it’s not projected to head as far inland as Helene did.
Such a sad situation for Florida. Thoughts and prayer out to all in its path….
