    I am sure you know as you shoot it but lighter/faster ammunition has more felt recoil than the heavier/slower ammunition in the same type/caliber. I prefer the 165gr. or 180gr. in a .40 pistol.

    Interesting, we have found just the opposite. You can tell when you load and mix the mags with both 155 and 135. The 135s I was saying though are'nt "powder puff" loads though. And yes, all plus P ammo is rough on a pistol, however one should practice and qualify with the ammunition used for duty or off duty/self defense carry to become/remain proficient. If the pistol cannot handle it, then it's not up to par for that job. Just my opinion.
