I think they use Lr-308 for several different barrel lengths. I have a plain LR-308 that is 24" stainless. I have saw a LR-308B which was an 18" teflon coated bull barrel. The LR-308L I think is 18 or 20 with a skeletonized stock.

That's a good deal. I paid similar for mine without tax and then had to pay 25 FFL transfer fee.

Nice gun. I've got the LaRue mount and a SS 10x40 on mine. The Nightforce will certainly do a better job if it's going to be a dedicated long range tool.

These are by far not bad scopes, but you can have much better for much left or night and day difference better for not much more.
