Taser a 10 year old girl?

She was being difficult with the mother. Mom called the cops. Cops came. Tried to handcuff, officer got kicked in the knads. Mom gave LEO permission to tase. Leo tased, girl in custody.

How many times do I have to say I have NOTHING against LEO's in general. However, I do have a problem with a few of them, and tasing a 10 year old pisses me off.

The parent would not take control of the situation so the LEO did. Who's says you can't spank your child. My kids would argue that point with you.

Hey I would not have "let" her, but I probably would have ended up kicked in the nads too because I do not perceive 10 year old girls as a threat.

Yes, it would have hurt. However, the cop let emotions get the best of him. There is not logical reason to tase a little girl unless she is waving a loaded gun around.

Would you prefer that he had punched her, or maybe thrown her to the ground and cuffed and stuffed her? Either way, it looks bad for the cop, but the little (w)itch should learn a little respect, and her "mother" should have taught her that.

For the record, the taser is "supposed" to have the least risk of injury.
