Bogalusa native Sgt Brandon Green of the US Army Marksmanship Unit won the Wimbleton Cup Match today for the 2nd year in a row. The Wimbleton Cup is an any rifle (.30 or under)/any sight match fired at 1000 yards. It consists of 20 shots for record, then the top scorer from each relay shoots it out in a 10 shot shoot-off. This is the match that Marine Sniper Carlos Hathcock won in 1965.

Brandon shoots with us at Palo Alto relatively often. He also provides some coaching for the our juniors and the rest of us from time to time.
