    I have noticed that there seems to be a possibly growing mis-use of this category. When posting something that would clearly fit under one of the other specialty categories, people are posting it here instead.

    Is it out of laziness, or is it intentional, to get it seen by more people? It seems that there are more posts and more viewers under "off-topic", but if you post something here that is clearly related to a specific category, you're just making the problem worse.

    Just don't go too off topic. That's not allowed in the off topic section.

    This is a site about guns and shooting. And hunting. Because that has to do with shooting. Also fishing, because some people like that. Also, there're sections for exercise and cooking for some reason. Just don't go too far off topic, though...

    Well, if nobody cares, then I don't care. It just seems odd that most of the time, like just now, there are more than twice as many people looking at the off-topic category than handgun, rifle, and shotgun combined.

    I guess I'm spending more time on the iPhone, and it's kind of a pain to log off and on, so the new posts thing doesn't help.

    If you use the mobile page, hit new posts, scroll through them, then hit make forums read. No logging out needed.
