Will your GLOCK and 1911 have fights in the gun safe while you're not home? It's OK though I bet the revolver will settle it for them.

You will love that pistol. I have the stainless version and it's my favorite. Try not to put an idiot scratch in her the first you time you field strip her. :D

Oh, and be prepared to change out those sights in a year or 2. The night sights on Springfield's are not known for their longevity.

I'm actually getting the replaced right now. Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight and a 10-8 Performance 02-125 rear sight. It should make for quick site picture acquisition.

I've put it off for a while - I tried painting the night sights with white paint so I could see them, but the vials are set deep enough in that you can only see the paint in bright sunlight...I couldn't even make them out in the indoor range.

I'll post a picture of them when I get it back.

I use Wilson Combat and Chip McCormick.

If I recall correctly, "Loaded" versions of Springfield weapons come with a "Loaded Coupon" to be used at the Springfield store...I don't know what kind of deal they cut you with it, but Springfield 7 round factory mags are pretty good for range use. I know I bought a bunch from Midway for like $12 or $13 last year.

edit - I just checked Springfield site...they must be smoking crack if they think those 7 rounders are worth $23.50. Midwayusa has the same mags for $14
