    If you want a cleaner look, get the grips that are cut for the S&A magwell. They cover the mainspring housing pin, fit flush with the bottom of the grip, and aren't beveled on the bottom.

    It was a tough decision. I wish the Alien grips came with the square bottom. But the pattern was too cool to pass up. Not really a big deal now :)

    Personally I don't care for the U cut in the rear sight. I've tried it before. It wasn't for me at all. But I like the front sight a lot.

    It's a good looking pistola! I think you'll like it. I've great things about Springfield Armory 1911's. Plus because it's a 1911 you'll be allowed to go to the tacitcool ball in the spring!
