    Awsome choice with the Pmags.

I hade some extraction problems with Wolf, but it's so damn cheap that it's still worth it. The extractor was breaking the cases rim. I think it was a combination of Wolf being dirty, the steel being brittle, and the carbine gas systems high chamber pressure during extraction.

This only happened twice in about 500 rds, but both times it put my rifle out of commission until I could get home to knock the case out of the chamber. I'm still shooting the hell out of Wolf, I just wouldn't trust it if the SHTF

For your 1/9 twist rifle, wolf 55 and 62 grain will be fine for plinking.

For a defensive round, you should look into some WWB Q3131 or Federal XM193 for full metal jackets or look into some of the heavier .223 open tip match ammo 68 grains or less. I have had sporadic results with shooting 75 grain ammo out of 16" 1/9 twist rifles, so before you invest too much into anything in that range, you may want to experiment with your gun first.

I agree and thanks. I've shot a few heavy rounds through my buddies stag w/ the 1/9 twist and you can almost see the round tumble through the air on the camera.
