There was a post not long ago about "Your Line in the Sand".

I'd say that replacing George Washington with Obama on the dollar bill would qualify for me as well.

Feel free to put him on food stamps, though.

If you're gonna put Obama on it, it should be a .50 note, not a dollar. But it could read a dollar. It just will be worth half.

The dollar isn't worth a **** these days anyway, so what do we do? Oh, spend millions of dollars re-tooling the mints and printing all new designs. Sounds like a great way for a .gov to spend money it doesn't have.

My guess is that the govt. is trying to stay ahead of the counterfeiters. The $1 isn't counterfeited much though. I think the bluish George Washington one is OK though. I personally feel that the $1 and $2 coin is the way to go. Get rid of the $1 and $2 bills. Any other coin/currency collectors here besides me?

Click a little further and find this. What kind of idiots do we have in this country? Granted this is based on less that 600 votes. This has got to be a bad joke by someone with a screwed up sense of humor.
As another thought, I wonder if any stimulus money has been used on this "project"......

Don't see a need to change money

As it continues to get smaller it could be replaced or assisted by " citizen bailout " cupons available from federal agencies with certain guidelines for reciepients
