Buddy of mine got an AR-.22 and an AK .22, and a few thousand rounds of .22, so off to the range we went. That AK .22 is ugly, but is so much fun to shoot! Very accurate rapid fire. I shoot at an indoor range, got there early, so we were the only ones there for a while. I see a guy looking in the window, sees me holding an 'AK-47' and he walks to the next bay. After I shoot it, he comes in with his daughter, guessing maybe 6 years old or so.
He has a nice Ruger 10/22, I was kinda wondering why he brought his daughter, not too common. Well, turns out, he was there to let her shoot. It was great, little girl safely shooting a 10/22 with a bipod.
Oh well, with all the anti gun stuff floating around, it is good to see some future voters shooting at an early age. He said he bought her a bolt action single shot .22 but she likes the high capacity mags.
