Some of us old pharts drive better than others.

I would not object to taking an eye test and a driving test.

I renewed over the internet last time, so I'll have to do it in person the next.

When I worked at Our Lady of the Lake, I was in the parking garage and saw an elderly lady in a rather large Lincoln try to pull into a parking spot, only it wasn't actually a parking spot. It was one of those spots with all the lines through it that was located in between 2 spots. I watched as she bumped a car, back up, tried again, bumped the car, back up...she ended up bumping the car about 4 times before she finally gave up and drove off...without leaving any information on the car that she hit.

My 90 yo MIL just got hers renewed for 4 years. She drives better than most people half her age. When she drives her friends on errands she says she's going to drive the "old people" around. :)
