Just called the LSP permit unit. The woman I spoke with said she's currently entering permits received around the last week of March... backlog of 1200 applications!

Hope I don't get mugged again while I'm waiting!

Wow and I just put mine in a week ago. I hope it isn't too long. I got my prints done there and handed in my application in person.

Mailed mine around mid to late March, cant exactly remember. Checked about a week ago and she said it still wasn't in the system. :-(

Sent in my renewal around the beginning of March. Just got it in the mail a couple of days ago.

I think mine should be in the system by now, but as recently as last week it wasn't. I'll probably call again tomorrow to see what the deal is.

If you hand it in in person, doesn't it get put in the system almost immediately?

I sent mine in on 3/31. I called yesterday and it still wasn't entered yet. Hopefully they don't find any issues with fingerprints or something else.

Sent mine in back in January, then last month they sent me a new card to get finger prints redone so now I'm still waiting. Maybe it will come in this month.

I mailed mine on Jan. 24 , it was issued on May 9.

Man I know a ton of people started getting this as soon as Mr. Hope Change got elected. So no wonder it's taking this long/

Just spoke to someone at the CHP unit, my app was entered May 20th, yay! Now to hope the fingerprint card was acceptable and that its 30 and not 60 days until I get it back.

It arrived. If memory serves, around 2 1/2 months.

Talked To A Lady At The Lsp A Week Ago And She Said They Were Back Loged And Would Be Processing About 500 Last Weekend. She Said My New Ccp Would Be Mailed Out Monday. Its Only Been About 6 Weeks And I Still Have That Thousand Yard Stare At The Mail Box.
