I don't know if anyone my be interested, but I found these while cleaning up my loading bench. Most have been recovered from deer. They are, beginning in the top right corner and continuing clockwise, .277, .284 and .308 Nosler Partitions of various weights; 120 gr .264 Balistic Tips out of a 6.5 JDJ; .277 and .308 Core Lokts; 180 gr Hornady XTP and 240 gr Remington .44 Mags.

Close up of Partitions. The big one on the left is a 200 gr .308 (.300 Jarrett) recovered out of a Blue Wildebeast. Notice that the expansion of the Partitions is very consistent. These were shot from .270, .280, .30-06 and .300 Win Mag.

Of these three 120 gr ballistic tips, two either lost or had their core separate. I have shot many more deer with these bullets but only recovered three. Deadly projectile.

These two Core Lokts were recovered from deer. The .270 (left) was fired from fairly long range and held together nicely. The other was out of a .30-06 - a 9 point at about 60 or 70 yards. The bullet entered the left shoulder and continued up the neck while the deer was quartering away. The 150 gr bullet had its core separate at the end of its penetration.

These .44 projectiles were recovered from deer. The 180 gr XTP (top) was a lung/shoulder shot that didn't exit from a 110 lb doe. I think the 180s fail the penetration test. The Remington 240 gr held together quite well.

I really like the dependability of the Nosler Partition bullets. every one that I have recovered penetrated well (none of these were from a broadside shot). The retain at least 60% of its weight and about 2X expansion. Some of the newer bullets (such as the new Barnes TSX) look very promising, but I don't really hunt enough to use all of the bullets I have in inventory already.
