I know just enuff to blow myself up, so Im asking here.

I would like to reload some subsonic 7.62x39 rounds. This will be shot from my H&R. It has a .311 barrel.dia .

Can I used 180 grain siera boat tail hunter 303 bullets (312 dia) set them deeper to get correct length?

I was planning on using trail boss powder 10 grain to start with and bump it up until it becomes super sonic and back it up.

I am also wanting to use magnum primers with the primer hole opened up a little.

Now , will this bullet stabilize at 1050 fps with a 16.5 length barrel and a 1-10 twist?

What about bullet effectiveness for a clean kill ? (30 to 50 yards)
Guess what Im asking here is will it mushroom at that speed?

    ANY HELP will be welcome.
