    The cool thing about revolvers is....
    If I'm having to bug out and have to shoot my way out of a **** scenario.....
    I don't have to stop and reload all 15 mags I just ran dry if all I had was a semi.

    A 460 "SNUBBIE" (4-5" maybe) would be an interesting replacement for the Alaskan (to keep it S&W). I went thru the same decision process a few years ago and ended up with the 460 vs 500 for the reasons already stated. Great looking wheel gun collection.
