    I'd be careful thinking that outweighing him gives you advantage. A trained assailant, a 7oz knife, or a 2lb pistol can change things drastically. I've seen guys that were 150 soaking wet completely own guys weighing 200+...some were due to training, others were on drugs. NEVER underestimate a potential opponent.

    You did right in the scenario, be proud you were aware & handled it properly.

    I know that line of thinking can be dangerous. I always have two separate blades on me in case i need them (for my engineering class). I also had the upper hand in better footing and setup. I stopped got a firm footing and he was walking towards me. I highly doubt that he had a gun on him because his clothing id not allow for ease of concealment.

    Wow man, glad you got your (new) laptop back! It sucks that this happened but sounds like you handled it well.
