And the thing about "sleeper cells" is that they are long-term and can work into positions of seniority and responsibility, just like any other spy or manipulator. Who knows what they control or are a part of, might be nothing and could be everything. Open borders could just be designed to distract and help destroy. Academia has taken in and made millions of foreign adults coming to the US a regular part of American society and critical systems and information. Many are wonderful people but not all of them are.

I have to imagine that they know what they are doing.

Wouldn't surprise me at all, actually. If they're tracking me they may learn a few things.
They'd certainly learn:
That I'm good people.
That a cartridge is not a caliber.
That you don't need a McCormic packet to make gravy and you don't need a rice cooker to cook rice.
That Conservatives are not the problem.

I’m jk. We all know the feds are completely unbiased and completely fair to both sides of the aisle. I absolutely don’t believe they are weaponized under our great current president
