Perhaps I was unclear. This means the sales TAX DOES NOT APPLY. Meaning, you don't pay the 4% this weekend. Holiday is definitely on there.

I don't know, but I have to admit that when I first looked at your avatar I read it as "Mark's woman", as in Mark's girlfriend or wife.

I now realize that it was intended as "marksman", but in the female gender, so "marksWOMAN".

That is correct, in that it is a State tax holiday. Parishes may or may not join in, but to my knowledge, East Baton Rouge is not.
