anyone have any good self defense videos that are informative? I know there's only so much one can learn from a video from the internet, but it will have to do until I can find a decent class that isn't an arm and a leg (didn't find any yet)

Thanks, but im talking more of on the line of hand to hand self defense. That will be useful when I AM finally able to get my CHP, thanks though

Cat, if you want Spec to take a class, but he doesn't want to be away from ya'll there are still solutions:
Take a class w/ him.
Go to the class with him and play tourist while he's in class.
Hire a trainer to come to you (private classes).

He was trying to say "can you help me out." He was very insistant and did not want to take no. I felt that I failed by allowing him to actually make contact. It was very disturbing. I had two women I was looking after and just did not get forceful enough fast enough. If I had not been armed, I believe I would have used some amount of force, say a shove or a punch. Being armed made me want to de-escalate things without the use of force.
