So...Open carry in not Legal in Louisiana?
It's about as legal as breathing, but there is no law saying you can legally breathe.
So...Open carry in not Legal in Louisiana?
Open carry is legal in Louisiana anywhere it is not illegal . Parishes and municipalities are not prohibited from passing anti carry laws . The fact that there are zones where open carry is prohibited by state statute speaks for itself . Of course if you happen to be stopped by a non 2ond friendly cop in a non second friendly little town you soon understand what legal anywhere it's not illegal means .

F'n scumbags! All of them!
Isn't amazing how it is easier to be bribed to go against the right thing to do, than the other way?
Just so it can't be claimed he was the first Governor to be overridden in Louisiana history!

For over three decades, the majority of the Legislature has voted AGAINST a Veto Override Session. This year, that changed.
All across Louisiana, the people stood firm, urging a veto override session to protect key conservative legislation that was passed this year.
You made sure your voices were heard.
You stood firm.
You made history in Louisiana.
Now is the time to KEEP PUSHING - all the way to the FINISH LINE!
Add your name to the email encouraging our Legislature to remain strong and vote these bills back to life.
