Using with pretty good success - three (3) - 8 minute runs with heat (unit gets up to 149 F)

Using 1/2 water, 1/2 vinegar, and few drops of Dawn dish washing soap.

Run in vibratory tumbler w/fine walnut hulls for 2 hours to finish

    Questions:

Would distilled water be better than tap - my tap water is < 60 ppm hardness.

Would 100% vinegar be better (and still use Dawn)

Any 'tricks' to get the funk out of the primer pockets.

Is soaking in 91% alcohol or boiling brass before ultrasonic treatment helpful.

    Does adding salt improve cleaning.

    Thanks

    Don' leave too long

Don' leave too long in the solution, causes the brass to get weak and crack, that happened to me, also distilled water would be better. BTW I only clean really dirty brass in the solution and only put brass in it one time, never put the same brass in the solution multiple times.

Logic would say to me that any organic solvent should work better than water, but I'm not speaking from experience w/ultrasonic. Would also need to check compatibility if the container is a plastic
