Well the money and timing were right. I took a trip to see Kenny at Meplat Group to have a trust drafted and a Silencerco Octane .45 ACP can ordered. Lipsey's in BR had them in stock so hopefully it wont take long being that the item is in state. Just have to pay for the stamp.

    Now the wait starts!!!

Anyone else have the Octane in 45? Im looking forward to this.

Well I went to see Michael Smith at MEJ services today. He had a Silencerco Warlock II 22LR can in stock. Take my money! Looks like I'll be seeing that stamp come back before my first one.

I can say that I've been bit by the class 3 bug now.

272 days from Check clearing to walking out the door with it.

I also have an AAC Element2 and a 7.62sdn on the way. Considering a 9mm can, or a fancy liberty "do-it-all" mystic.

As far as the above question:
    1) I've seen plenty of videos with people shooting/testing rimfire rounds through take-apart centerfire cans.
    Examples: http://youtu.be/wvypaU1vLfA , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1VshiFSqkg ,

    2) AAC's package insert states specifically - " DO not shoot rimfire through Tirant models." - However, the older Tirants were NON-serviceable, and it is thought that the card is a carryover.

    3) If you do it, it'll be dirty as hell, and just clean it more often. It's a lot of little nooks/crannys to get it really cleaned.
