It was interesting to see how you had to take it down. It had to be in single shot mode to do so and you would proceed normally like any other Glock. All there was was basicall a sear that tripped it every time to allow for full auto function. The "sear" was activated my the lever on the slide. The 18C also had a lasermax guiderod installed in it but the batteries were dead.:(

but now the moment you all have been waiting for and for those who like the slogan "pics or it didn't happen"

I just wanna know how fast the magazine dump is.

Having shot a bit of full auto (thanks to a certain cousin by marriage of mine), I am acutely aware of how fast the ammo goes. I just do not understand what the purpose if this particular pistol is. Can someone explain why you would want this instead of a dedicated subgun like a MP5 or a Thompson? Hell a a Sten or greasegun would seem to be a much better choice.

because this can be a side arm or a subgun. It easily can be carried as a backup with a normal mag, and a couple of 33 rounders. It is select fire, so it does not have to be full auto all the time.

so, I thought they quit making these a while back and that looks like a gen 3 lower. has the top end been moved around? if so, and the full auto function is in the slide assy, what good does it do to have the frame registered? not trying to instigate anything, those questions just came to mind while looking at it.

The trigger bar is different than semi glocks, it works with the sear device when the slide and frame are mashed together. i would have to assume either the frame or the slide would considered an NFA weapon due to its nature. I could be wrong, but it only makes since that it would be.

Can someone come in and rent one to shoot? I was in there yesterday and would have paid to rent it if I had known those were there.
No the 18C's aren't for rent unfortunately. Not saying that couldnt change tomorrow, but unlikely it will. I dont know why ( ill find out but yesterday was my first day getting to learn the ropes.)
Currently we have an MP5, a UMP40, an UZI, and a Beretta PM12 available for full auto rental. The rental is $25 if im not mistaken and you can either buy ammo there or bring your own as long as its brass ( no aluminum, steel casings or steelcore/ armor piercing)

Fun new job, that's for sure.

oh you bet! discounted everything and a free range 7 days a week!

Wait til you shoot it, definitely something you remember! Since I'm sure you'll be indoors at barney's, get a good grip and stance or else you WILL hit the ceiling within 4 shots.
