    I'm no expert here. But as a guy who likes John Wayne movies and revolvers. I'd say it's a purple flower and move on. Because if I were to spend a lot of time questioning what kind of flower that is than I'd be a "Bridges of Madison County" guy. Which I'm not. What kind of guy are you?

    Good question I never took the time to answer. Google tells me it's a Lycoris radiata, or red spider lily. Apparently it comes from Japan. What I have always called a Naked Lady is a light violet color and comes from Africa. Call them what you want but they are a nice splash of color when a lot a plants have lost their flowers. When me and my motorcycle buddy explore back wood roads the red Spider Lilly show me where long lost house sights once stood.
