What You Need to Know to Conceal Carry in The Ark-La-Tex

Okay, they didn't do TOO bad of a job here- but they got the legal age for open carry in LA wrong- it's 18, not 21. (small bit of )


Anyway, it seems like we sometimes have questions about rules in TX & Arky, thought I'd post it here....


(The vehicle rules for TX & AR- ESPECIALLY AR- leave a lot to be desired. That is bizarre, to me. )

I sent the reporter a email about the 18 yr old deal.

The "printing" thing almost seems like double-dipping, to me.

If you have a CC permit and your handgun can be made out under your shirt, it's considered open carry in TX- and you're carrying illegally.

If you DON'T HAVE a permit in TX and it can be made out under your shirt, you're CCing illegally.
