Banning open carry in California? Surprised who wants the law signed? No one in the story gives the number of people who openly carry that were convicted of crimes with that gun over any period of time. Hmmm.

They have to carry empty with no magazine anyway. It's not like they would lose much of a tactical advantage being unarmed.

Either way just more reason to stay out of California.

Seems to me the lobby should at least be able to persuade someone in the Cali legislature to bring a compromise bill to change Cali to a Shall Issue state if they want to ban open carry. But, this is California we are talking about and they let their fringe drive the bus.
