DAs don’t have funds to mess around with. That’s why they reduce so many charges to get someone to plea, plus they don’t want to waste more time and money on cases they can’t win. Also with DAs, since they are elected, they generally don’t want to **** off large parts of their voter base with frivolous prosecutions.

Federal entities would be the only real obstacle.

Exactly!!!!!!!Once again people talk about things they nothing about but read about it online. It seems habitual with some members.

Generally speaking, yes, but there have definitely been times that prosecutors have gone the distance knowing they have no case. And when they do, it’s often considered to be a punitive action.

So “generally speaking” but this one time
In band camp. Come on man quit trying to stoke the fire.

Also, with DAs, they generally shy away from cases that could be problematic. There’s nothing more precious to a DA than their successful “prosecution percentage”.

Y'all must have forgotten about, or not heard about, all the Soros/progressive funded DA's that have come to light recently.
Charges get reduced all the time, mostly for people that aren't being targeted by these bought and paid for officials.
Let someone like myself or most other members of this forum get hemmed up and I would bet a limb we get the book thrown at us.

Those are few and far between, in the complete scene. And I have yet to hear how hard they are on, what I’d assume the majority of the members here, conservative,
    Or right leaning.

Our ilk rarely find themselves on the defendants side of the court room.

Bayoushooter members will not get treated any different than non Bayoushooter members. I’m sure you have a lot more experience dealing with the justice system than us though. Quit thinking everyone is out to get you.

That's why i won't own an AR.. Not worth the trouble. I'm just as good with non ar rifles and I don't need a military grade weapon to protect myself and my family.

Tactitools and blanket statements... Welcome to Bayoushooter.

When will full-auto BCG’s also be considered machine guns? Hell it says it in the description when they are sold.
I do remember the days of Colt making a big to do about that. One can also readily buy full auto fire control groups. The serial numbered part is the sear block itself. Supposedly THE part that makes the difference between a semi auto rifle and a ….MACHINE GUN Mua HaHaHa!!!!!!!!

Meh, kinda hard to convey big and scary in a post.

Sounds punitive. That’s the downside to our judicial system. If a DA or the feds decide they wanna go to trial they can afford to drag out every trick and attempt and charge they can think of even if they know it won’t stick. They know it won’t matter in the end. Zero penalty for them for being wrong and they get to hose the charged and wreck his/her life and their family’s as well. They actually threaten people with this for not turning state’s evidence or copping to a plea.
I know it happens. That’s all that matters to me. Yes, a DA hates to lose a case. That’s why if they have a doubt and the person charged is steadfast, they eventually drop charges. I’ve seen where they know they don’t have a case but sit on it and prolong things because they can. After the person has already been put through the wringer. Punitive. But many times they will coax people into plea bargains and scare them into taking one when they are innocent, just so they can take the lesser of the evils. It has been discovered that public defenders often become complicit in these proceedings. I suppose someone will say that never happens either.

I’m really working your nerves huh Motor. Guess what bro, these things happen. I’m sorry if it hurts your feelings for people to say anything negative about any LEO’s or DA’s. I guess you haven’t developed that tough skin that would keep you from being so defensive and taking every negative comment personally. I’ll just have to start including an apology to you every time I say anything derogatory about our legal system or law enforcement.
    Sorry bro.

In some neighborhoods swarms of friends, relatives, and neighbors would appear and surround the AFT agents, forcing them to retreat. Alas, not my neighborhood.
